ABOUT THE COOPERATIVE: Created in 2015 as a non-profit consumer cooperative, EnergÉtica is constituted as an instrument to move towards a new energy model from Castilla y León: a 100% renewable model, independent of large oligopolies and their boards of directors and in the hands of the citizens.

In addition to providing a 100% renewable electricity supply for the homes and businesses of its members, EnergÉtica also addresses other areas of activity, such as renewable generation (through its participation in the Valteína hydroelectric plant, Valladolid), photovoltaic self-consumption (through its communitiessolares.org program) and energy saving and efficiency services.
